否卦天地

否卦是《易經》中的一個六爻卦象,由乾卦上卦和坤卦下卦組成,排在第七位。乾卦代表天,坤卦代表地,否卦的卦象象徵著天地失去聯繫,萬物失去生機的意義。

The Fǒu Gua is a hexagram in the Yi Jing (Book of Changes) consisting of six lines, with the Qian (Heaven) trigram above and the Kun (Earth) trigram below. It is the seventh hexagram. Qian represents heaven, while Kun represents earth. The hexagram symbolizes the disconnection between heaven and earth, and the loss of vitality in all things.

第十二卦:《否卦》

否:否之匪人,不利,君子貞;大往小來。

【白話】《否卦》象徵閉塞:一個卦閉的社會,人們之間的來往是不通暢的,天下沒有便利之處,君子必須堅守正道;這時強大者離

去,弱小者到來。

《象》曰:天地不交,「否」;君子以儉德闢難,不可榮以祿。

【白話】《象辭》說:《否卦》的卦象為坤(地)下乾(天)上,為天在地上之表象。 天在極高之處,地在極低之處,天地陰陽之間因

而不能互相交合,所以時世閉塞不通,這時候君子必須堅持勤儉節約的美德,以避免危險與災難不能謀取高官及豐厚的俸祿,去追求榮

華富貴。

初六,拔茅茹,以其匯,貞吉,亨。

【白話】初六,拔起一把茅草,只見它們的根連在一起,物以類聚,找它們時要以其種類來識別;結果是吉祥的,亨通。

《象》曰:「拔茅貞吉」,志在君也。

【白話】《象辭》說:“拔起茅草,其根相連,結果吉祥”,說明忠心耿耿,有為君主建功立業的遠大志向。

六二,包承,小人吉;大人否,亨。

【白話】六二,阿諛奉承有權勢的人,小人因此獲得吉祥;德高望重的大人物否定了阿諛奉承,則是吉利的。

《象》曰:“大人否享”,不亂群也。

【白話】《象辭》說:“德高望重的大人物否定了阿諛奉承,則是吉利的”,因為德高望重的大人物是不能與小人為伍的。

六三,包羞。

【白話】六三,因受縱容而胡作非為,終於召致羞辱。

《象》曰:“包羞”,位不當也。

【白話】《象辭》說:“由於受縱容而胡作非為,終於召致羞辱”,說明此時處的位置不正。

九四,有命無咎,疇離女。

【白話】九四,奉行天命,替天行道,開通閉塞,沒有災禍,大家互相依附都可以獲得福分。

《象》曰:“有命無咎”,志行也。

【白話】《象辭》說:“奉行天命,替天行道,開通閉塞沒有災禍”,說明要實現濟困扶危替天行道的志向。

九五,休否,大人吉;其亡其亡,繫於苞桑。

【白話】九五,時世閉塞不通的局面將要停止,德高勢隆的大人物可以獲得吉祥;居安思危,常常以“不久將要滅亡,不久將要滅亡”,

這樣的警句來提醒自己,才能像繫結在一大片叢生的桑樹上那樣牢固,安然無事。

《象》曰:“大人之吉”,位正當也。

【白話】《象辭》說:“德高勢隆的大人物可以獲得吉祥”,說明此時處於居中位置,合適得當。

上九,傾否;先否後喜。

【白話】上九,時世閉塞不通的局面將要改變,發生了天翻地覆的變化;起初閉塞不通,後來順暢通達,大家歡喜高興。

《象》曰:否終則傾,何可長也!

【白話】《象辭》說:閉塞到了極點必然要發生傾覆,物極必反,否極泰來,一種局面不會長久持續不發生變化的!

From the hexagram itself, the upper trigram of Fǒu consists of three yang lines, representing firmness, strength, and proactivity, while the lower trigram consists of three yin lines, representing suppleness, humility, and passivity. Therefore, Fǒu also represents the loss of balance and harmony, indicating that people lack appropriate communication and balance when pursuing their goals or facing difficulties, which may lead to unnecessary troubles and conflicts.

In divination, the Fǒu hexagram reminds people to communicate and coordinate well in order to achieve better development in interpersonal relationships and careers. Additionally, Fǒu implies that people need to be mindful of their own and others' emotions and needs, in order to build good relationships based on mutual trust.

Fǒu also suggests that people need to maintain a clear mind about reality, recognize the essence of themselves and things, and avoid having overly high or low expectations, in order to avoid disappointment and frustration. At the same time, Fǒu reminds people to seek and cultivate their inner strength, to cope with challenges and difficulties in life.
