臨卦䷒

臨卦是《易經》中的第十九卦,由下卦兌和上卦坤組成。由於上卦代表地的坤卦,下卦代表澤的兌卦,因此通稱為「地澤臨」。

第十九卦:《臨卦》

臨:元,亨,利,貞。 至於八月有兇。

【白話】《臨卦》象徵督導:能亨通無阻,祥和有益,堅守正道。 但是到了八月(陽衰陰盛),會有兇險。

《象》曰:「澤上有地,臨;君子以教思無窮,容保民無疆。

【白話】《象辭》說:《臨卦》的卦像是兌(澤)下坤(地)上,為地在澤上之表象。 澤上有地,地居高而臨下,象徵督導。 君子由此

受到啟發,費盡心思地教導人民,並以其無邊無際的盛德保護人民。

初九,咸臨,貞吉。

【白話】初九,感應尊貴者,使其行督導之責。 可獲吉祥。

《象》曰:“咸臨,貞吉”,志行正也。

【白話】《象辭》說:“感應尊貴者,使其行督導之責,可獲吉祥”,說明其志向和行為都很正派。

九二,咸臨,吉,無不利。

【白話】九二,“感應尊貴者,使其行督導之責, 可獲吉祥”,不會有什麼不利。

《象》曰:“咸臨,吉,無不利”,未順命也。

【白話】《象辭》說:“感應尊貴者,使其行督導之責,可獲吉祥,不會有什麼不利”,這是由於不囿於命運安排的樊籠,自身努力的

結果。

六三,甘臨,無攸利;既憂之,無咎。

【白話】六三,居高臨下,靠甜言蜜語去督導,必無所利;但是,已經覺悟,能憂懼改過,就不會有禍害。

《象》曰:「甘臨」,位不當也。 “既憂之”,咎不長也。

【白話】《象辭》說:“居高臨下,靠甜言蜜語去督導”,這是因為六三爻位置不當的緣故。 但是,“已經覺悟,能憂懼改過”,危害

就不會長久了。

六四,至臨,無咎。

【白話】六四,親善地督導下級,則必然沒有禍害。

《象》曰:「至臨,無咎」位當也。

【白話】《象辭》說:“親善的督導下級,則必然沒有禍害”,這是因為六四爻位置確當的緣故。

六五,知臨,大君之宜,吉。

【白話】六五,以聰明才智來實行督導,這是偉大君主最適宜的統治之道,能獲得吉祥。

《象》曰:“大君之宜”,行中之謂也。

【白話】《象辭》說:“以聰明才智來實行督導,這是偉大君主最適宜的統治之道”,說的就是行中庸之道。

上六,敦臨,吉,無咎。

【白話】上六,溫柔敦厚地實行督導,能獲得吉祥,沒有危害。

《象》曰:“敦臨之吉”,志在內也。

【白話】《象辭》說:“溫柔敦厚地實行督導,能獲得吉祥”,說明其志在於利國利家(在內)。
